Race 1
Everyone probably gets sick of hearing it but Shoe Phone is the best dog in this by a hundred yards. Surprisingly no one has told the dog yet inconsistency is its biggest hurdle to overcome. Fascinator was a surprise winner last week and the word around the traps is it will repeat the dose here. Lonesome Mary often bobs up and will be worth throwing in for your exotics.

Race 2
Never Quoted has drawn a favorable box here and looks capable of winning. Rita Lillian has been out of form of late but will get no better opportunity to turn her fortunes around than this. Diomedes has ability but the draw looks like being his undoing. Forget the rest they are just making up numbers

Race 3
You Mob is boxed to perfection and there will be no excuses if he doesn't get the chocolates here. The two new dogs Sleek Argument and How High don't look like world beaters but won't have to be to salute the judge in this. Tivoli Tiger is brilliant on his night but he hasn't shown that for a while now.

Race 4
Captain Swift      Grows a leg off this draw but will need two extra legs for this
Pale Token           Likes to be drawn wider but might get a run with slow beginners either side
Benzino           Enigmatic runner that will need to put his best paw forward
Kehunga           Honest as the days long but honesty won't get him the cash here
Arctic Jet           Great effort last week genuine chance here
Wednesday Beers      Drawn awkwardly but the latest Darwin Cup Champ is all class
Other Mob           Will get a cart across if he can keep pace early
Not Tomorrow     Desperate railer so draw won't help
Like Iron Mike      Great local talent if he gains a start will be a big chance at odds
Never Quoted      These will be to slick for him over this distance

Race 5
All the money in this race should be around the two Phillips runners in Cairo Star and Like Iron Mike. Cairo Star for mine is the one to beat. Emerley Dancer was a good win over the longer trip last week but the drop back in distance won't help. Iron Ruby has been knocking on the door and this is the type of race she appreciates
